Terrorism to be Crushed, Says LG Sinha
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha outlined the developmental vision for the erstwhile state, emphasizing the eradication of terrorism from the Union Territory. He expressed optimism that Jammu and Kashmir would soon be among the developed states in the country.
Speaking at an event in Reasi, LG Sinha highlighted the progress made in Jammu and Kashmir over the past four years. He called for collective dedication to building a developed Jammu and Kashmir, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of holistic development for the region.
However, Sinha stressed that development is contingent upon a secure environment. He condemned Pakistan's attempts to disrupt peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, assuring that the armed forces, police, and Central Reserve Police Force are fully empowered to crush and eliminate terrorism.
Earlier in the day, LG Sinha terminated two government employees with established terror links from service, citing the need to safeguard the state's security. The employees, identified as Ab Rehman Naika and Zahir Abbas, were dismissed based on investigations by law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
