Christmas Delivery Deadlines with Australia Post
With Christmas just around the corner, Australia Post is encouraging everyone to start planning their gift deliveries. Last year, they delivered nearly 100 million parcels in November and December, so it's important to get your packages on their way early to ensure they arrive on time.
For Parcel Post within metro areas:

Within Australia: 65 cents (envelope must be endorsed "Card only", maximum size 130mm x 240mm, thickness 5mm, weight 250g)
$3 (envelope must be endorsed "Card only", maximum size 260mm x 360mm, thickness 5mm, weight 50g)
Flat-rate options available for parcels up to 5kg within Australia.
Prices range from $10.95 for small Parcel Post to $31.35 for extra large Express Post.
Australia Post typically does not deliver on weekends, but they will offer weekend deliveries in some metro and regional areas during the Christmas period. Check their website for more details.
