Anand Jain, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Jammu Zone, recently conducted a visit to the Special Operations Group (SOG) camps situated in Kathua district. Accompanied by R Gopala Krishna Rao, Inspector General (IG) CRPF, Jammu Sector, and Shobhit Saxena, SSP Kathua, the ADGP's purpose was to review the operational preparedness of the SOG units.
During the visit, ADGP Anand Jain meticulously inspected the infrastructure, equipment, and training facilities at the SOG camps located in Lowang and Duggaini within the Kathua district. This scrutiny aimed to ensure that the SOG personnel are well-equipped and trained to handle any upcoming security challenges efficiently.
An essential part of the visit involved interactions with the SOG personnel to understand the security arrangements in place, counter-insurgency strategies being implemented, and the level of preparedness to confront potential threats in the border district.
