Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has recently given the green light to various development projects in different sectors throughout the state. One of the notable approvals includes allocating Rs 450 lakh for the construction of administrative, commerce faculty, and arts faculty buildings at the Government Degree College in Vikasnagar block, Dehradun district. Additionally, he has sanctioned the upgradation of the Primary Health Center in Bhatwadi (Uttarkashi district) to a 50-bed sub-district hospital.
Moreover, the Chief Minister has allocated funds for road infrastructure enhancements in several areas. For instance, he has approved Rs 323.69 lakh for the reconstruction and asphalting of roads in Ramgarh and Bhimtal assembly constituency in Nainital district. In another project, a total of Rs 572.04 lakh has been set aside for stone set and railing fixing work in the footpath from Rambada to Garudchatti in Kedarnath assembly constituency.
In addition to these infrastructural developments, Chief Minister Dhami has also given approval for various water-related projects. This includes providing funds for the construction of tube wells, rising main, distribution systems, and related works in the Doon Enclave Extension area in Dehradun district. Furthermore, he has allocated funds for the Ekta Vihar Drinking Water Scheme in the Raipur Assembly constituency of Dehradun district.
Furthermore, under the Chief Minister's directives, there have been approvals for schemes aimed at improving sewerage systems and laying new pipelines in different areas of Dehradun district. Additionally, financial approval has been granted for various projects under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, as part of the Centrally Funded Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Program Scheme for the financial year 2024-25.
