Snow, Rain, and Clearing Skies with a Chance of Monday Night Showers

The day will start with minimum temperatures ranging from 2 to 7°C, with Sofia experiencing a low of 2°C. Snow is expected in the northwestern parts of Bulgaria and in the mountains, with blizzard conditions on the mountain passes. Central and eastern Bulgaria will see rain, with heavier amounts in the south-central region. Maximum temperatures are expected to be between 2 and 4°C in the western parts of the country and up to 10-12°C in the eastern parts, with the capital reaching around 4°C.

Wind and snow showers are expected in the mountains, except for the Eastern Rhodopes, Strandzha, and Sakar, where rain is forecast. Precipitation will be heaviest in the Central Balkan and on the southern slopes of the Rhodopes. The maximum temperature will be 3°C at 1,200 m and about minus 1°C at 2,000 m.

The Black Sea coast will be cloudy with showers. Maximum temperatures will be 12-13°C, matching the sea water temperature.

Sunday will be cloudy with temporary cloud breaks over southwestern Bulgaria. The eastern parts of the country may experience showers until midday, gradually stopping in the afternoon and starting again at dusk from the south-southwest. Rain is expected to fall over most of the country on Monday night.
