Mamata Banerjee's Potential Leadership Role in the INDIA Alliance
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MP Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi have expressed their support for West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee taking on a more prominent role within the INDIA alliance.
Sule stated that Banerjee is an integral part of the alliance and that they would be happy if she took on more responsibility. Chaturvedi highlighted Banerjee's successful model in West Bengal, where she has kept the BJP away from power.
Earlier, TMC MP Kirti Azad had praised Banerjee's leadership qualities and her ability to unite people. He also mentioned her strong track record of defeating Prime Minister Narendra Modi in West Bengal.
TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee had previously suggested that the INDIA alliance needs a strong leader to take on the BJP. He believes that Banerjee could be the ideal candidate for this role.
