Vivo Launches X200 Series in India to Compete with OnePlus 13

Vivo has made a significant entry into the Indian market with the launch of its X200 series, which includes the X200 and X200 Pro models. These smartphones are designed to compete with rivals like the anticipated OnePlus 13, aiming to attract consumers with their premium features and advanced camera capabilities. However, it is worth noting that the smaller variant available in China will not be introduced in the Indian market, providing a distinct lineup for Indian consumers.

The Vivo X200 comes with a price tag starting at ₹65,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, while the Vivo X200 Pro is priced at ₹94,999 for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage version. Both of these models are expected to be available for purchase from December 19, 2024, through platforms like Amazon and other partnering retailers. Additionally, customers using HDFC Bank and select cards can benefit from a 10% cashback offer on their purchases, adding extra value to the buying experience.

When it comes to specifications, the Vivo X200 features a 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED LTPS quad-curved display that supports PWM dimming, HDR10+, and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits, providing users with a high-quality visual experience. Moreover, the device is equipped with a substantial 5,800mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, ensuring efficient power management for prolonged usage. On the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro offers similar display specifications but upgrades to an LTPO panel with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz and sleeker 1.63mm bezels, enhancing the overall display quality and aesthetics of the device. The standout feature of the X200 Pro is its 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto sensor, backed by Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, delivering advanced imaging capabilities that cater to photography enthusiasts and professionals alike. Additionally, the Pro model is powered by a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, ensuring extended usage without compromising on performance. Both models in the X200 series are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, constructed on a 3nm process, featuring a Cortex-X925 core with a peak clock speed of 3.6GHz, promising efficient and high-performance processing for a seamless user experience.
