Juvenile Suspect Linked to NGO with Political Ties?

Delhi Police Investigation into School Bomb Threats Leads to Juvenile, Raising Questions about Political Connections

The Delhi Police investigation into bomb threats received by schools in the national capital has led to a juvenile. The police suspect that one of the juvenile's parents is connected to an organization with links to an NGO that has "deep connections to a particular political party."

The BJP has seized upon this information to attack the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), alleging that the party has ties to the NGO and is somehow involved in the threats. However, AAP has rejected these allegations, calling them "fabricated stories" and pointing out that the first threat was made in May 2023, 15 months before the Delhi elections.

The police investigation has revealed that the juvenile has been sending the emails since February 2023. The police are still investigating the matter and have not yet released the name of the political party or the NGO.

The Delhi elections are scheduled to be held on February 5, 2025. This incident is likely to further heat up the already charged political atmosphere in the city.
