Bulgaria Shines at the 2025 Berlin International Green Week

Bulgaria proudly showcased its agricultural prowess at the 2025 Berlin International Green Week, the world's leading exhibition for food, agriculture, and horticulture. The Bulgarian delegation, led by Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food Lozana Vassileva and Deyan Stratev, received high praise from dignitaries like German Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir, Governing Mayor of Berlin Kai Wegner, and European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Christophe Hansen.

This marked Bulgaria's 34th participation in this prestigious event, a testament to the country's commitment to sustainable agriculture and high-quality food production. The Bulgarian stand displayed a diverse array of products, including canned fruits and vegetables, essential oils, honey and bee products, yoghurt, white buffalo cheese, cheese, sujuk sausage, fish products, nuts, wines, and organic drinks.

Bulgaria's reputation for excellence in essential oils, particularly rose oil and lavender, was highlighted by Deputy Minister Vassileva. The country's dedication to sustainable practices and commitment to providing consumers with healthy, delicious food was evident throughout the exhibition.

The 2025 Berlin International Green Week provided a valuable platform for Bulgaria to connect with international partners, showcase its agricultural achievements, and promote its unique culinary offerings to a global audience.
