
Gujarat Approves Rs 605 Crore for Urban Development
Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved Rs 605.48 crore for urban development projects across the state. This investment will support infrastructure improvements, environmental sustainability initiatives, and literacy promotion.
Improved Infrastructure: Stormwater drainage, lake beautification, urban roads, water supply, and railway overbridges will be constructed.
Rs 40 crores allocated for new gardens in 25 municipalities.
Rs 3 crores each for library construction in 13 municipalities, Rs 1.50 crore each for smart libraries in 22 municipalities.
Rs 15.72 crore for infrastructure expansion in several municipalities.
Rs 112.53 crore for water supply schemes in Khambhat and Dahod, Rs 4.49 crore for underground sewerage in Halvad.
Rs 26.35 crore for projects in Sanand, Viramgam, and Bhavnagar.
Rs 99.89 crore for drainage works in Bhavnagar, Rs 15.29 crore for urban road construction.
