Adani Group Partners with Mayo Clinic to Launch Rs 6,000 Crore Health City Initiative

Adani Group has revealed plans to invest Rs 6,000 crore in the development of two integrated healthcare campuses – one in Ahmedabad and one in Mumbai. Each campus is designed to include a 1,000-bed multi-specialty hospital alongside a medical college that will enroll undergraduates, residents, and fellows. In partnership with Mayo Clinic, the world’s largest integrated not-for-profit medical group, the project will benefit from extensive technical expertise and strategic guidance in clinical practices, digital technology, and healthcare quality improvements.

The planned health cities will not only provide world-class clinical care but also focus on training the next generation of medical professionals. Facilities at these campuses will include state-of-the-art research centers specializing in clinical research, artificial intelligence, and biomedical informatics. Designed to serve people from every socio-economic background, the initiative is part of a larger commitment by the Adani family, which previously announced a substantial contribution towards improving healthcare, education, and skill development across the country.

Looking ahead, the Adani Group envisions a broader rollout of these integrated health campuses in various cities and towns across India, aiming to elevate the country’s overall healthcare standards and provide accessible medical services nationwide.
