
Air India Resumes Flights to Dhaka with Waiver for Affected Passengers
Following a brief suspension due to unrest in Bangladesh, Air India has resumed its evening flights AI237 and AI238 on the Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi route on Tuesday. The airline is also offering a one-time waiver to passengers who had confirmed bookings on any Air India flight to and from Dhaka between August 4th and 7th, 2024, and wish to reschedule their travel.

Air India prioritizes the safety of its customers and crew and will continue to monitor the situation in Dhaka closely.
Previously, Air India and IndiGo had cancelled scheduled flights to and from Dhaka due to the unrest.
Air India operated two daily flights from Delhi to Dhaka, while Vistara flew daily flights from Mumbai and three weekly services from Delhi to the Bangladesh capital. IndiGo operated flights to Dhaka from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.
