Apple AAPL debuted its third generation AirPods at a virtual event on Monday, creating new demo mode in the future. The new AirPods available for $119 next week, with shorter stems than the originals and are also water-resistant, so you don't have to worry about wearing them and sweating.
They have a new low-distortion driver for powerful bass and high-frequency sounds. They also have touch controls on the sides. A new Adaptive design sends audio directly to your ear, and an old receiver uses it to increase the way the sound so that you hear it the way it is meant to sound regardless of your ear shape.
The battery life of the monitor has also increased to six hours of listening. The redesigned charging case also brings you 30 hours of extra power. Apple further added wireless charging and MagSafe.
The new Apple AirPods also sport spatial audio, which tracks your head movement to match the direction audio sounds like it's coming from. I turn my head to the left at my phone while watching a movie, and it will sound like the audio is from your right ear, rather than centered.
The original AirPods will be available for $129, while the AirPods Pro are still available for $249.
