Biden's climate tilt has been an abject failure, says Varney host

During his latest My Take, Friday, Varney Co. host Stuart Varney discussed the consequences of President Biden's tilt to the climate crowd and argued that the U.S. has been embarrassed by a president who begs for oil from unsavory regimes. STUART VARNEY: When the price of gas went down, the president took full credit. He's desperate because prices are going back up.

He wants a gas price spike before the elections, the last thing he wants is a gas price spike. He's got it. And that's what he has got.

Diesel, the industrial fuel, is going back up again, now it's $4.91.

His handlers are spinning wildly, lashing out to blame anyone and anything, except the president's green policies.

The production cuts and price hikes began when Joe Biden became president, but they couldn't get around the fact that America is producing less oil now than in 2019.

Biden's tilt to the climate crowd has been an abject failure. We have committed to cutting emissions, crippling ourselves while China's emissions expand.

America has been embarrassed by a president who asks for oil from some of the world's most unsavory regimes.

What is the best way to say when a country with huge energy reserves refuses to go get it, in the middle of a global energy crisis.

This is Biden's mess.
