The slowdown in the criptocurrency markets has continued this Wednesday morning. The global criptocurrency market cap has taken a hit and is down by 2.50 per cent over the last 24 hours. Data from CoinMarketCap, a data aggregation company, highlighted that the world's market cap is 1.12 trillion, lower than Tuesday s levels. The total market volume for cryptocurrencies was $73.44 billion over the last 24 hours, a 13.73 per cent increase from the last trading session. Over the last 24 hours, the heavyweights of the digital currency have slipped, with Bitcoin,Ethereum, andBNB falling.

It was trading at $23,451, down 2.22 per cent. The Ether token of the ether network showed a downward trend of 2.29 per cent. The price of the criptocurrency is $1,847. The BNB of Binance Smart Chain fell 3.89 per cent.

The USDT stable coin has had a 0.01 per cent change in its value over the last 24 hours to maintain its peg at $1. The USDC stable coin went up by 0.02 per cent to stay pegged at $1.

The price of the currency plunged by 0.06 per cent. The stable coin is trading at $0.0994, while stable coin DAI fell by 0.04 per cent but maintained its peg at $1.

Over the last 24 hours, Ripple, Cardano, Solana, and others have slowed down.

The ADA token of Cardano fell by 3.46 per cent. AVAX of the Avalanche is down 5.95 per cent. The XRP of Ripple dropped 2.60 per cent.

Polkadot DOT fell 5.34 per cent and Polygon's MATIC fell 5.59 per cent.

Meme coin, like Doge coin and Shiba Inu, took a hit over the past 24 hours. Doge coin fell 4.47 per cent. Shiba Inu crashed 7.27 per cent.

The majority of topcryptocurrencies slipped out of their positions over the last 24 hours.
