Bitcoin price up 1.04% on Coinmarketcap

The world's largest criptocurrency was trading marginally higher today. The price ofBitcoin went up 1.04% to $57,145 on Coinmarketcap. The market cap of the criptocurrency was $1,078 billion.

The global market cap is currently $2.58 trillion, a gain of 0.44%. Other cryptocurrencies traded on a mixed note today.

Doge coin was trading 2.78% lower at $0.2168, up 0.24% to $4,287 and 0.24% rose to $4,287. The digital token Stellar slipped 1.02% to $0.331 and Litecoin gained 2.07% to $216.91.

XRP declined 0.95% to $1.04 and Uni swap fell 4.86% to $20.73. The prices of cryptocurrencies have gone up recently due to comments from billionaire Elon Musk and Ark Investment Management LLC's Cathie Wood.

In late July, Elon Musk said Tesla was most likely to acceptbitcoin as payment. The comment helped the race of criptocurrencies to get past the $30,000 level.

In May, the electric carmaker said it would no longer accept cryptocurrencies for purchases. It's been a wild ride for the last three years for the digital currency.

The digital currency made its big Wall Street debut in December 2017 when the major futures exchanges rolled outBitcoin futures. The attention brought the price of Bitcoins to around $19,300, a never-before-season price for the currency.
