The operative action Blue 1 was carried out by the members of the Agency for Investigation and Protection of Bosnia and Herzegovina SIPA in the area of Tuzla, ivinice, Lukavac, Gra anica and Banovi i, within which they searched residential buildings and movable property at 14 locations.
Sixteen persons were deprived of their liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they had committed the criminal offense of Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
People deprived of their liberty were taken to SIPA premises for criminal processing and questioning as suspects.
During the search, about 20 kilograms of a white powdery substance that looks like marijuana, about a hundred kilograms of tobacco, a large amount of money, three pistols, a rifle and a certain amount of ammunition, computers, laptops and other items that can be used in criminal proceedings were discovered and temporarily confiscated, according to the statement.
