Minister Pod i informed General Cottereau about the political circumstances in which the MoD and the Armed Forces Bosnia and Herzegovina operate, especially emphasizing that political blockades of state institutions within the country have a negative impact on the insufficient military budget and the continued participation of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in peacekeeping missions abroad.
The interlocutors agreed that the continuation of the EUFOR mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina would be the best solution for peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. General Cottereau expressed his readiness that the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina will engage with even greater capacities in cooperation with the state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina during his term of office.
