Britain has not been complacent about the vulnerability of its wholesale energy market

LONDON, Sept 23 Reuters : Britain has not been complacent about the vulnerability of its wholesale energy market, which is seeing some suppliers fail in the wake of sky-high wholesale gas prices, business and energy minister said on Thursday.

This hasn't been complacent, the entire point of the supplier of last resort process, which was interrogated last year, is that it's an organisational process, established, that can allow existing strong companies to absorb our customers in failure.

The solution to the crisis came from the industry and the markets. They say the government will not bail out potential energy companies.
