New Delhi India February 1 ANI Union Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Development of North Eastern Region, G Kishan Reddy praised the Union Budget presented in Parliament on Tuesday and said it was a progressive as the government is focused on infrastructure, employment generation, and future development.
Our government is focused on infrastructure, employment generation, and future development. Reddy said that a good allocation was made for the northeast, its culture, and tourism.
The Union Minister said that around 76,000 crore has been allocated in Budget 2022 -- 23, compared to the budget allocation for the development of the northeast from last year.
He said around 8000 crore more than the last year was allocated for the development of northeast Rs 76,000 crore in Budget 2022.
Provisions were made for road connectivity, air connectivity, train connectivity, and employment generation in the northeast, according to Reddy.
