CCDI committee approves work report for 20th CPC Congress

ZHANG LING XINHUA BEIJING -- The 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China held its seventh plenary session on Friday.

The CCDI work report was approved by participants at the session for the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress, according to a communique released after the plenum.

The report will be submitted to the seventh plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, which will open on October 9, for deliberation.

Zhao Leji, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central CommitteeCPC Central Committee and secretary of the CCDI, spoke at the meeting.

A total of 129 CCDI members attended the session, and two other attendees were present in a non-voting capacity.
