Climate change group takes to the streets to protest against leaky homes

The climate change group - which is campaigning to force Britain's government to remove leaky homes from social housing - has caused chaos across the country in recent weeks. Dozens of protesters blocked major trunk roads including the M25 and the Port of Dover in a bid to raise awareness about their cause.

She claimed that she hadn't seen one person who was against the aims of the group and said that their action had been successful in putting insulating housing on the agenda. She added: We talk about the carbon transition - they talk a lot about the reduction of our energy requirements but it was never talked about until we took to the streets. If we reduce requirement it is so much easier to transition.
