Criptocurrency market cap falls 2.50 per cent

The slowdown in the criptocurrency markets has continued this Wednesday morning. The global criptocurrency market cap has taken a hit and is down by 2.50 per cent over the last 24 hours. The data from CoinMarketCap, a data aggregator, highlighted that the world's market cap is at 1.12 trillion, lower than Tuesday s levels. The total market volume for cryptocurrencies was $73.44 billion in the last 24 hours, a 13.73 per cent increase from the last trading session.

Over the past 24 hours, the heavyweights ofBNB,Bitcoin, andBitcoin have slipped.

The price of the digital currency is trading at $23,451, down 2.22 per cent. The network's Ether token also showed a downward trend of 2.29 per cent. The price of the criptocurrency is $1,847. The BNB of the Binance Smart Chain fell by 3.89 per cent.

The USDT Tether stable coin has shown a 0.01 per cent change in its value over the last 24 hours to keep its peg at $1. The USDC stablecoin was up 0.02 per cent to keep it pegged at $1.

The dollar's value fell 0.06 per cent. The stable coin is trading at $0.0994, while the stable coin DAI fell by 0.04 per cent but maintained its peg at $1.

Over the last 24 hours, the natives of Layer 1 networks like Ripple, Cardano, Solana, and others have tanked.

The ADA token of Cardano fell by 3.46 per cent. AVAX of the Avalanche is down 5.95 per cent. Ripple's XRP dropped 2.60 per cent.

Polkadot's DOT fell 5.34 per cent and Polygon's MATIC fell 5.59 per cent.

Over the past 24 hours, Memecoins like Doge coin and Shiba Inu also took a hit. Doge coin fell 4.47 per cent. Shiba Inu lost 7.27 per cent.

Over the last 24 hours, a majority of the topcryptocurrencies have slipped from their positions.
