Digital nomads living in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s BiH

Since September, five digital nomads, who do their work remotely, have been staying in Mostar, south of Bosnia and Herzegovina BiH. It is a project to recover tourism from the COVID 19 epidemic, which will last until October 17th. It is financed by the EU 4 BusinessRecovery project.

Anna-Maria Kochanska from Poland is an IT expert and consultant.

She said she generally traveled to the countries of the region during the COVID 19 period. During her stay in Croatia, she became interested in BiH and applied for the digital nomads program in Mostar.

One thing that really impressed me is how welcoming people are that really stands out to me, according to Kochanska.

Mostar is beautiful, but it is a place that many people wouldn't know how to show on a map, they don't know where it is. She adds that they only hear about it when they come to Croatia.

Han Talbot, a marketing expert from the United Kingdom, is a marketing expert. She said that some of her mother's best friends are from BiH. She said she grew up with bits of Bosnian culture.

She spent the last few months in Croatia, where she learned about the program in Mostar.

After a few days of stay in the south of BiH, Talbot said she would absolutely recommend people to come to Mostar and BiH.

Samira Holma, from Sweden, is a marketing expert and blogger. She points out that she has a lot of friends in Sweden who are from the Balkans. She has been in touch with the local culture before.

I spend a lot of time outside of Sweden in Latin America and southern Europe and I see many similarities. Holma emphasized that the culture is quite different from Sweden but close to some things that I have experienced before, a very open and friendly culture in general, according to Radio Slobodna Evropa.
