Gibraltar's first minister, Fabian Picardo, has given evidence to the Commons European Scrutiny Committee on the Brexit deal, where he insists that the overseas territory has a British future. David Jones, a Conservative MP, asked last week the chief minister of Gibraltar appeared before the European scrutiny committee and gave evidence about the continuing negotiations between Gibraltar and the European Union on their future relationship. During the course of the evidence, the chief minister made clear that Gibraltar's future should be as he put it, 'British, British, British'.

How is the Government attempting to exclude a role for the European Court of Justice? Mr Johnson said that Gibraltar is British, British, British and will remain so.
