Andrew Westerman, the vice president of international sales, communication products, has been hired by HFCL in its wholly-owned subsidiary in the Netherlands to lead sales and business development for communication products in global markets.
HFCL has also onboarded Rajesh Jain as the Executive President of the EPC Projects Business.
HFCL has added Santanu Bhattacharyya to the Vice President and Head of FPGA Engineering to strengthen its R&D capability.
Andrew Westerman joins HFCL as Vice President International Sales, Communication Products. Andrew has more than three decades of experience in pre-sales, business development, transmission and networking. Prior to joining HFCL, Andrew was the head of sales, EMEA Region, Mimosa by Airspan, where he was responsible for managing and growing direct sales through service providers along with indirect sales. Andrew will focus on sales and business development for HFCL's entire range of Communication Products in the international market, after holding several leadership positions in renowned organizations like Ceragon Networks, Ericsson and ICO Global Communications. His appointment will strengthen the global leadership team of HFCL.
The Company had recently brought in Dr. Peter A Weimann as CTO of the Optical Fiber Cable business and Jochen Arms as Vice-President Sales for the European DACH Region for Optical Fiber Cables.
Rajesh Jain has been appointed Executive President of Telecom EPC Projects Business. He will help HFCL grow its EPC projects business in both the national and international markets. Rajesh is an MBA and has 26 years of experience in various business sectors, such as Telecom Power, EPC and O&M Projects. He has held senior business and cross functional leadership positions in his career, and built strong relationships with key stakeholders in the government, PSUs and corporate sector. Prior to joining HFCL, Rajesh was associated with A 2 Z Infra Engineering Limited, CEO Whole Time Director, and previously worked with Teracom Limited, Surana Telecom, MPI Group and Vindhya Telelinks Limited.
Santanu Bhattacharyya has joined FPGA Engineering as the Vice President- Head. He will help HFCL address the great opportunities in the 5 G space and build HFCL's products for the global telecom markets. Santanu is an M.Tech., an industry expert in R&D with over three decades of experience. Communications Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Initially he worked with CDOT as a research engineer, but he has worked with organizations like Transwitch, Solarflare and most recently with Xilinx, where he was the Design Engineering Director. His primary responsibility was running the Smart NIC development in Xilinx in collaboration with the global teams at Xilinx.
