Honda launches CB300F, a street sports bike starting Rs 2.26 lakh

Honda Motorcycle Scooter India HMSI has launched a new mid-size street sports bike CB 300 F starting at Rs 2.26 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.

In a statement, the Japanese automaker said that this new motorcycle draws its DNA from international big-bike design as a synergy of performance and unmatched persona. The two-wheeler landscape in India is changing as we move up in the motorcycle category. Riders in the mid-size segment and above are looking for a fine balance between performance and versatility modernism. The riding community is getting performance oriented and looking forward to a big bike experience with an aspiration for a dynamic lifestyle. Today as we turn a new chapter in Honda's fun-motorcycle line-up, I am glad to present the all-new CB 300 F the advanced formidable streetfighter! The statement was quoted by Atsushi Ogata, the managing director, president and CEO of HMSI.

Bookings for the new CB 300 F can be made at either the Honda BigWing Showrooms or its official website hondabigwing.in. The Honda CB 300 F will be available in two variants - Deluxe Rs 2.26 lakh and Deluxe Pro Rs 2.29 lakh. The new Honda CB 300 F will be priced higher against the likes of BMW G 310 R, Royal Enfield 650 Twins and KTM 390 Duke.

The bike is tuned for long-distance touring as well as aggressive city riding, according to the company. The bike has a 6 speed transmission.

In addition to this, the Honda CB 300 F comes equipped with a 150 mm wide rear tire and 5 step adjustable rear mono shock suspension.

The Honda CB 300 F will be available in three color options - Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic and Sports Red.

The CB 300 F comes with a masculine and toned tank to give a streetfighter bike's charisma. In addition to this, the bike's forward-leaning stance adds a feeling of aggression while a split seat, a compact muffler and stylish V-shaped alloy wheels bring a sporty charm to the CB 300 F.

The bike comes with its proprietary torque control system, dual channel ABS, 'Assist Slipper' clutch, 'USD' front forks and disc brakes for both front and rear wheels. The new CB 300 F has a fully-digital instrument panel and LED headlamp indicators.
