
New Delhi India January 6 ANI External Affairs Minister EAM S Jaishankar spoke with Nepali counterpart Dr. Narayan Khadka and discussed progress on many fronts including development partnership and COVID 19 collaboration.
Jaishankar said both sides agreed to broaden the vistas of cooperation by taking to Twitter.
It was an opportunity to recognize progress on so many fronts. Our Development Partnership and Covid collaboration have been noteworthy. Jaishankar tweeted that he wanted to broaden the vistas of our cooperation.
On September 22th, Nepali Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed Narayan Khadka as foreign minister.
A sitting minister confirmed to the ANI that Deuba will start a four-day visit to India on Sunday.
The proposal for his visit was endorsed by the minister in the Deuba cabinet, paving the way for him to start his second international visit after assuming the post of Prime Minister last year.
Apart from attending the Gujarat Global Summit, PM Deuba will be attending a meeting with his Indian counterpart. A cabinet meeting approved Deuba's visit. The minister confirmed to ANI that a formal announcement will be made by MoFA.
