
Nur-Sultan Kazakhstan January 9 ANI Forces scaled up their counter-terrorist operation in Kazakhstan's Almaty with security personnel deployed at all checkpoints to prevent the escape of militants, said Sputnik.
Security personnel are inspecting all vehicles at the 13 checkpoints located around the city of Almaty and thorough document checks are being carried out, said Sputnik.
The city's law enforcement authorities have taken over the control of all entrances and exits.
