Kite broker brokerage says it had ‘absolutely’ no issues with its portal

The online brokerage said there were no issues with their front, despite users complaining about issues with access to the Zerodha and Upstox portals. Users have had problems accessing the portal due to a change in the log in process for its Kite portal.

The company spokeswoman said, "I would like to bring you notice that we had absolutely no issue from our side." The change made for Kite's web log in made it easier for people to deal with individual issues. We shared the update with all of our customers on September 23. The Kite PIN will no longer be required from today and users will have to enter a secure App Code, according to the spokesperson. This App Code can be obtained by opening the Kite mobile app by opening it. He further stated that if you are using external TOTP, nothing changes. This change is in line with new regulations and improves account security. A user wrote on Twitter, Zerodha, Upstox, HDFC Securities that most of the brokers have issues with login issues. These are some nonsense rules that are enforced by regulators. You don't want retailers to make money. Upstox had informed its users when the issue was resolved earlier in the day. The online brokerage posted, Resolved: Intermittent login issues. You may have had a login issue earlier today, but we have resolved it. You can login on our mobile or web platforms. Thank you for your patience. Sensex has lost 249 points or 1.44 per cent at 17,078 as of 12: 34 pm, and Sensex has dropped by 732 points or 1.26 per cent at 57,367.
