Tech companies have shut down accounts of an LGBT organization that opposes a growing movement sexualizing children, according to its founder.
Gays Against Groomers said Tuesday it had been banned from PayPal and Venmo. The organization also announced its Google accounts had been shuttered on Tuesday evening.
Jaimee Mitchell, the founder of Gays Against Groomers, went on Tucker Carlson Tonight to talk about the ban.
We have never gotten a violation before. They said they violated their user agreements, which they are not sure what is in the agreement they have violated, according to Mitchell. There was no really detailed message to that. We were banned just after we received the notification that we had been banned. There was no answer from PayPal or Venmo about what agreements Gays Against Groomers violated or whether they would be eligible to have their accounts restored.
In a statement to the FOX Business, PayPal and Venmo wrote that PayPal has a long-standing and consistent Acceptable Use Policy. When a person or organization has violated this policy, we take action. There is no disclosure of specific account information for current or former customers, per company policy. Google told Fox News Digital Gay Against Groomers' account was flagged and temporarily suspended, but has since been reinstated.
This account was temporarily suspended after it was automatically flagged under our policies prohibiting bulk account creation, according to Google's statement. After an appeal and completion of a security check, we immediately reinstated the account. Mitchell told Carlson that her organization is comprised of gay people. We have a few trans people in our organization. Just trying to fight this evil that is happening in the name of LGBTQIA, you know, the whole alphabet mafia. According to the website, Gays Against Groomers is concerned about the recent trend of indoctrinating, sexualizing and medicalizing children under the guise of LGBTQIA Mitchell said the companies are being punished for their beliefs and accused of standing on the side of pedophiles and child predators. They said they took our account down for discriminatory behavior. Mitchell said that they did exactly what they did to us. I mean, no other LGBT organization would ever be banned from their platform if they fell in line with this agenda. We are not intimidated. It makes us stronger.
