The LUNA 2.0 airdrop was scheduled to be conducted on May 27th. The mainnet will be deployed on May 28, 2022, at 06: 00: 00 GMT, with the mainnet being deployed on May 28, 2022, at 06: 00 AM UTC. Please be aware that GMT and UTC are the same timezone.
The post-attack snapshot was taken on May 26 at block 77990000, giving developers 24 hours to create the genesis file and launch the mainnet for LUNA 2.0.
It is not surprising that the launch has been delayed due to the timeframe. A further delay does not bode well for the project's reputation after the myriad of issues that have plagued the Terra ecosystem over the past few weeks.
The following steps have been laid out by Terraform Labs :
The JSON file has participating validators.
TFL will collect all Gen tx s from validators. A supermajority of interconnected validators running simultaneously will produce Block 1 of the new chain. Individual projects will announce launch dates for dApps running on Terra.
Liquid LUNA token can be staked on Terra Station for rewards.
LUNA tokens will automatically appear in users wallets. Staked token will appear in Terra Station under the stake tab.
Holders of LUNA on exchanges should check with their exchange as to how the airdrop will be released.
