Michael Cohen says Trump trying to delay the inevitable documents

The former aide and lawyer Michael Cohen launched a scathing criticism of what he described as the delaying tactics of the former president in a recent TikTok video.

What Happened: Cohen said the former president is now trying to delay the inevitable, despite the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals having rejected Trump's bid to prevent the Department of Justice from investigating the 100 or so classified documents recovered from Mar-a-Lago.

The lawyer said that he is going to do that, and that is what he is going to do.

This is exactly what he does in every single case. Cohen said he will drag it as far as he possibly can.

Cohen said that the former president believes that they owe him something and that he now controls the Supreme Court, especially after the Roe decision, which has led to a request to the Supreme Court to hear the case.

If the Supreme Court doesn't listen to this bullsh t, the fact that this f cking a hole can have top secret documents, which are in violation of the Presidential Records Act, as well as the National Archives with their multiple subpoenas, requests, and so on, we know that the Supreme Court is corrupt, he added.

He concluded that these people who are in the Supreme Court, if they take this case, have to go.

The Department of Justice is looking into whether Trump took classified documents to his Florida residence in violation of three federal laws, including the Espionage Act. A CNN report said Trump's delay tactics may not work this time around, citing legal experts. The report said that the apex court might not take it up in the first case, but it would move too quickly for Trump's liking, even if it did.

The report stated that the former president could lose because he would have to prove that he had suffered irreparable harm, which is a stretch, according to legal experts.
