News Corporation reported record fourth-quarter revenue higher than expected

News Corporation announced Thursday that revenue in the fourth quarter was $2.49 billion, 30% higher than the $1.92 billion in the year-ago period.

The company also reported a net loss of 15 million in the fourth quarter of 2003. In the same period, the company reported net loss of $41 million.

Robert Thomson, the company's chief executive, said, Fiscal Year 2021 was the most profitable year since we created the new news corp in 2013 with revenues doubling 4% in the full year and up 30% in the fourth quarter. For fiscal year 2021, News Corporation said the revenues rose 4% relative to one year ago to $9.36 billion.
