Rep. Davidson slams Dems' social spending, tax bill

During an interview with Maria Friday, House Financial Services Committee member Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, slammed Democrats' social spending and tax bill, arguing that it will not help alleviate the inflationary effects on American consumers at all. REP. WARREN DAVIDSON: Five infantry divisions worth of IRS agents. There's a tax of 3.8% on closely held businesses, like the companies I used to own before I ran for Congress. The majority of our workers are in small and medium-sized companies, and a lot of them are closely held companies.

They're going to pay an extra 3.8%. They say that they're going to help the economy, and they're going to cool the economy off. It's not going to help people deal with inflation if you take it out of pocket and put it in the government.
