Sarajevo tour guide shares his experiences

Mak Muranovic, the travel agency of Art and Tours, was the guide for Sting the world music star who held a concert in Sarajevo yesterday. He revealed which places Sting visited in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina BiH and what he was most interested in.

Muranovic revealed in an interview that he tok Sting, along with his wife Trudie Styler and his entourage, around the old part of the city, Trebevic, as well as the Tunnel of Salvation.

We met at the hotel yesterday. He wanted to see a lot and he wanted to know a lot about Sarajevo. I was particularly touched by the fact that he emphasized that he wanted to come here regardless of the concert. We took him through the old part of the city, and he also visited craft shops where he received a gift, began Mak yesterday.

He told how he tried baklava, which delighted him, but also rakia.

As a welcome to the city, I told him to try the rakia. He tried the pear rakia on the recommendation and made a face, but still joked: It s great, this will wake me up, he added.

On the second day of Sting's stay in Sarajevo, at his request, the guide took him to the bobsled track and they went on a panoramic tour.

Mak told him that he had read about Sarajevo and that he knew it was a city that had lived through a lot. He wanted to know and create a picture of what happened from 92 to 95 here, by researching the city. He said that we talked about the Olympic Games and he also asked a lot about the city itself and its history.

He surprised me with his simplicity. He is quite open, he stopped the driver to say goodbye, he had patience for everyone who would meet him on the street and asked to take a picture with him, emphasized Muranovic.

Sting performed last night in Sarajevo s Zetra, and it is interesting that this musical spectacle took place on his birthday, reports Klix.ba.
