Saudi Arabia sends 32,700 copies of Holy Quran to Kenya

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, began sending the fourth batch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift of 32,700 copies of the Holy Quran with different sizes and interpretations to the Republic of Kenya in coordination with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's embassy in Nairobi, where this comes in the implementation of the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

The ministry started shipping the amount in response to the preventive measures and health protocols that were followed to curb the spread of the coronaviruses COVID - 19 pandemic.

The ministry's branch in Makkah Dr. Salem bin Hajj Al-Khamri, said that this is the fourth batch of the total amount, and that the total distributed copies of the complex's issues have reached 59,450 copies of the complex's issues, which the ministry distributes millions of copies for free, according to the director general of its branch in Makkah Dr. Salem bin Hajj Al-Khamri, during a speech from Jeddah Islamic Port.

Dr. AL-Khamri said the average production of the complex was nine million copies per year before the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in 1438. Hijri ordered the production of the complex increase by 18 million copies annually, which was achieved through the generous support of the wise leadership.

He said that the complex's production until the end of 2021 exceeded 345 million copies, and 320 million of which were distributed to Muslims across the globe.
