Saudi Aramco ties up with Advanced Electronics Company

Advanced Electronics Company will participate in the IKTVA 2022 Forum and Exhibition.

The Advanced Electronics Company AEC, a Saudi Arabian Military Industries SAMI company, will participate in the IKTVA 2022 Forum and Exhibition organized by Saudi Aramco from 24 January to 26 January 2022. Through participation, AEC aims to develop the local manufacturing sector, increase global competitiveness, support the diverse economic environment, and build a prosperous future for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

CEO of AEC Eng. Ziad Al-Musallam stated that the participation of the AEC is part of its effort to improve the local manufacturing sector, Internet of Things IoT and artificial intelligence, as well as increase the level of global competitiveness by supporting the economic environment and to build a prosperous future for the Kingdom.

AEC is proud to have won the IKTVA's 2020 Excellence Award in the category of Best in Saudization in the manufacturing sector. AEC's efforts to support Saudi talent is recognized by the award, representing more than 85% of the company's 2200 employees, including 800 highly skilled and certified male and female engineers working in various fields of Eng. Al-Musallam added.

Al-Musallam said that AEC has strong and strategic relationships with Saudi Aramco, which has allowed the company to expand its horizons in the electronic industries, IoT and artificial intelligence. Both companies have previously succeeded in developing a Data Diode device, a locally-developed product that can be installed, configured, and maintained, and provides utmost safety from cyber-attacks and external intrusions. This technology helps to bolster the trust in the Kingdom's local capabilities. Aramco Namaat, the industrial investment program of AEC and Aramco, is a partnership that aims to complement various digital hubs in Saudi Arabia, create new jobs, and accelerate digital talent development. The partnership was established to support the growth of the Kingdom's digital ecosystem and to enable the development of IoT technologies, computing, communication, robotics, drones and semiconductors that complement the expansion of the Kingdom's digital ecosystem.
