The Government's transition to a net-zero economy is paying off big time, with tens of thousands of jobs secured in the last 12 months. Since November 2020, figures published by the Department for International Trade show that at least 56,000 high-quality jobs have been secured across the UK since Friday. The announcement came ahead of Cabinet meeting in South West today to discuss the Government's green agenda. In addition, more than 900 million were put forward for accelerating the transition to zero emission vehicles. It follows comments by Ms Johnson that these new figures are yet more evidence that Going Green means creating high-quality jobs across the United Kingdom.
