This New York-area Lake Quassapaug home offers a range of outbuildings

This waterfront property on Lake Quassapaug offers a range of outbuildings, including a two-bedroom guest house, a boathouse with an office, a pool house with a kitchenette and a four-season dog house.

It is a stunning compound, said Brown Harris Stevens listing agent Jill S. Sloane. I have never seen a pet house before, and you rarely see a property with seven structures. It is a cute little log cabin that is heated and cooled. She said that the 6 acre property is quite private. You come in on a long tree lined driveway and then it opens up to sky and lake. She said that the lake is quiet because jet skis are not allowed.

The estate has a three-car garage with a guest room, a full bath and a cigar and wine room, and a two-story barn with a full bath and a loft, along with the log cabin-style main house built in 2009.

The owner was adamant that all of the furniture should be included because he had spent so much time finding them, Ms. Sloane said. It would take a lot of years to replicate what he has done. A double-decker pontoon boat and an all-terrain vehicle are also included in the package.

From the front door, you step into an open-plan great room with vaulted ceilings and a two-story stone fireplace. The kitchen has an island with seating, a beamed ceiling and hardwood floors.

The ground-floor primary bedroom suite offers a walk-in closet and sliding doors to a covered rear porch. There are four bedrooms upstairs with an office sitting room.

Ms. Sloane said that what we are selling here is a compound. You can have multiple guests and everyone has their own space. The 5,409 square-foot main house has five bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one partial bathroom. There is a two-bedroom guest house. The site is 5.94 acres.

A pool and spa, a double-decker pontoon boat, a wine and a cigar and wine room, a rec room, a covered porch and a large pool, a two-bedroom guest house, a two-story barn, a three-car garage and a heated and cooled dog house with a dog run are all included in the amenities including a pool and spa.

Ms. Sloane said the whole area is big for New York City weekenders. There is so much to do around here. She said it was just a couple of miles to downtown Middlebury, which has lots of restaurants. The city of Woodbury and the Quassy Amusement and Waterpark are also nearby.

She said the drive to Manhattan takes about an hour and 20 minutes.
