U.N. Security Council condemns deadly tanker attack

NEW YORK, Aug 3 - On Tuesday the United Nations Security Council told Britain, Romania and Liberia that it was highly likely that Iran used one or more drones to carry out a deadly tanker attack off the coast of Oman.

This attack affected and posed a risk to international shipping and was a clear violation of international law, the countries told in a letter to the 15 member council, which was Reuters saw. This act needs to be condemned by the international community.
