LONDON - There is no escape from high inflation in Britain, even when sitting down to breakfast.
As inflation takes its toll on the country - consumer prices went up 10.1 percent in July from the previous year, according to official figures released on Wednesday, the prices for items associated with basic breakfast in Britain have gone up.
The rise in inflation is attributed in large part to higher food and drink prices across the board, according to data from the Office for National Statistics.
