Gold and Silver Prices Update in Various Indian Cities and International Markets

Recently, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs 10 in early trade in Mumbai, with ten grams of the precious metal now priced at Rs 72,920. Additionally, the price of silver also decreased by Rs 100, with one kilogram of the precious metal selling at Rs 83,900.

In various Indian cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold varied, standing at Rs 73,070, Rs 72,920, and Rs 72,750, respectively. Similarly, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold also fluctuated, with prices in different cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai at Rs 66,990, Rs 66,840, and Rs 67,690, respectively.

Moreover, in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold remained the same at Rs 66,840, showcasing consistency across these cities. Furthermore, the international market saw US gold prices decrease slightly due to a strong US dollar, impacting overseas buyers. Spot gold fell 0.3 per cent to $2,328.20 per ounce, while US gold futures were down 0.3 per cent at $2,339.70 per ounce.

Additionally, in terms of silver prices, one kilogram of silver in Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata was priced at Rs 83,900, while in Chennai, it stood at Rs 87,400. Overall, these fluctuations in gold and silver prices reflect the ongoing market dynamics both domestically and internationally.
