Ajman Government Implements Remote Work and Distance Learning Due to Expected Weather Conditions

The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ajman, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department, has activated the remote work system for government employees on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. This decision excludes roles requiring on-site presence and prioritizes public safety in light of the anticipated weather conditions.

Furthermore, the team, in coordination with the Ajman Private Education Coordination Office, has opted for distance learning in private schools within the emirate on Thursday, May 2nd, and Friday, May 3rd. This measure aims to ensure the safety of administrative staff, teachers, and students during the expected weather fluctuations.

The decision aligns with the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE) announcement regarding the shift to remote learning in public schools across the nation on Thursday and Friday.

In anticipation of the upcoming weather, the team encourages private companies in Ajman to adopt flexible work arrangements for their employees. Prioritizing worker safety by taking appropriate precautions and adhering to occupational health and safety regulations at all external work locations is crucial.
