Stride Ventures Closes Fund III at $165 Million

Stride Ventures, a leading venture debt firm in India, has successfully closed its third fund, Stride Ventures India Fund III, at $165 million. This achievement comes just one year after the first close of the fund in 2023.

The fund has attracted a diverse group of investors, including insurance companies, family offices, corporate treasuries, and high-net-worth individuals. This strong support reflects the confidence investors have in Stride Ventures' ability to identify and invest in promising startups.

Fund III's portfolio already includes several top companies, such as BlueStone, Moneyview, Moove, Foxtale, CureSkin, NewMe, Nat Habit, and AgroStar. These companies represent the fund's focus on consumer brands, financial services, and cleantech sectors. Stride Ventures is committed to empowering high-growth, pioneering entrepreneurs who are leading the market.

"We are broadening our impact across the Indian startup ecosystem, with comprehensive financial solutions for working capital, capex, in-organic expansion, and growth," said Apoorva Sharma, Managing Partner at Stride Ventures.

Stride Ventures has a diverse portfolio of over 140 startups across various sectors, including consumer, fintech, agri-tech, B2B commerce, health-tech, B2B SaaS, mobility, and energy solutions (EV).

"As we close Fund III, our vision extends beyond the immediate market horizon," said Ishpreet Singh Gandhi, Founder and Managing Partner at Stride Ventures. "We remain committed to supporting visionary founders."

Stride Ventures has successfully returned its Fund I in its entirety, achieving outstanding returns in the industry. The firm also recently published the third edition of the 'India Venture Debt Report- 2024,' which highlights the growing interest in CleanTech investments and integrated debt solutions within the Indian venture debt ecosystem.
