"Paanch Nyay" Unveils 25 Promises for a More Just and Equitable India

A Vision for the Future

The Indian National Congress is poised to unveil its manifesto, a comprehensive plan outlining the party's vision for the next five years. This document, titled "Paanch Nyay" or "Five Pillars of Justice," lays out 25 promises aimed at ensuring justice for various segments of society.

Yuva Nyay: Justice for youth, focusing on education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Justice for women, addressing issues of safety, equality, and empowerment.

Justice for farmers, providing support for income, infrastructure, and technology.

Justice for laborers, ensuring fair wages, social security, and dignified working conditions.

Justice in opportunities, advocating for representation and participation based on population demographics.

Each pillar encompasses five specific guarantees, formulated after extensive nationwide consultations and incorporating thousands of suggestions received through various channels.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge emphasizes the significance of the manifesto, stating, "Our 5 NYAY — 25 GUARANTEE agenda represents our non-negotiable commitment to the welfare of the nation." He underscores the party's long-standing commitment to the people, highlighting the trust built over decades.

The manifesto is expected to address crucial issues like unemployment, farmer distress, and women's safety, which were also central to the party's promises in the 2019 elections. Additionally, the Congress may pledge to repeal the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), along with reforms to the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Evidence Act.

Furthermore, the party is likely to include measures promoting transparency in government recruitment and enacting stringent laws against document leaks.

The Indian National Congress manifesto presents a vision for a more just and equitable India, outlining concrete steps to address the needs of its citizens and build a brighter future for all.
