Volkswagen Inaugurates New Store in Chennai, Expanding Retail Presence in India

German automaker Volkswagen has opened a new store in Chennai, further strengthening its retail presence in India. This new outlet in Ambattur marks the company's 26th sales and 20th service facility in Tamil Nadu.

"The Chennai Metropolitan area is one of the key markets for Volkswagen in India," said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, in a company statement. "With this inauguration of our newest touchpoint in Chennai, we are emphasising our commitment to the rising need for premium, safe, and reliable vehicles throughout India."

The new store, 'KUN Capital Motors,' is led by Director Arun Uppuswami and boasts a five-car display and 25 service bays. "Our long-standing partnership with Volkswagen has driven a highly successful mobility revolution in Tamil Nadu," said Uppuswami. "With class-leading products on offer, we are once again glad to make the safest portfolio of Volkswagen Taigun, Tiguan, and Virtus, even more accessible to customers through the new city store."

With this latest addition, Volkswagen now has a total of 208 sales and 142 service touchpoints across 155 cities in India. The company continues to expand its reach and cater to the growing demand for its vehicles in the Indian market.
