Lookout Notice Issued Against Karnataka MLA H D Revanna by SIT

Karnataka's Home Minister, G Parameshwara, disclosed that a lookout notice has been issued by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) against JD(S) MLA H D Revanna, who is under investigation for sexual abuse accusations along with his son Prajwal Revanna, an MP. The SIT has also given Revanna a deadline till the evening to present himself for inquiry, as he faces two FIRs filed against him.

Parameshwara mentioned that the lookout notice was issued as a precautionary measure, anticipating Revanna's potential plans to go abroad amidst the investigations. Despite his confidant being arrested in the Mysuru kidnap case, Revanna has not been apprehended yet but has been given a deadline to appear before the SIT for questioning. The minister highlighted the ongoing arrests and lookout notices, suggesting that more developments are expected in the case.

The allegations against Revanna and his son range from sexual harassment to abduction, resulting in multiple cases being registered against them. The gravity of the accusations has led to the formation of an SIT to investigate the scandal, with explicit video clips purportedly involving Prajwal Revanna surfacing in the public domain. While efforts to bring Prajwal Revanna back for questioning have been underway, the legal procedures, including the possibility of arrest, are expected to follow suit. Furthermore, a CID complaint in Bengaluru accusing Prajwal of raping a JD(S) party worker at gunpoint and extortion through blackmail has added to the complexity of the case.
