Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the opposition alliance, alleging that their victory in the upcoming elections would lead to "jungle raj" in the country. He also accused opposition parties of rampant corruption, citing recent instances of large sums of money being recovered from their leaders' residences.

Third Phase Polling Begins

The third phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 commenced today, with 93 constituencies across 11 states and union territories going to the polls. This phase features several prominent candidates, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav, and NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule.

Nominations Conclude

The nomination process for the Delhi Lok Sabha constituency concluded on Monday, May 6th. Among the notable candidates who filed their nominations were Congress' North East Delhi nominee Kanhaiya Kumar and former AAP leader Raaj Kumar Anand, who joined the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and is contesting from the prestigious New Delhi seat.
