Tejashwi Yadav criticizes BJP for allegedly speaking about amending the Constitution

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejashwi Yadav, strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during an opposition bloc rally in Ranchi for allegedly suggesting amendments to the Constitution, which was drafted by Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Yadav emphasized that the BJP does not have the authority to make changes to the Constitution and warned that speaking of "finishing the Constitution" would lead to consequences from the people.

Yadav highlighted the significance of the Constitution, democracy, and cultural harmony, stating that the BJP would face repercussions from the public for any attempts to undermine these principles. He also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government, accusing them of using central investigation agencies to target opposition leaders as a means of suppressing political dissent. Yadav pointed out the imprisonment of various opposition figures and criticized the BJP for what he referred to as excessive control over investigative agencies such as the ED, IT, and CBI. Yadav also touched on electoral bonds, alleging that the ruling party had received substantial funds through the now-scrapped electoral financing scheme, while failing to fulfill its promises to the people.
